- Purpose
- This Intellectual Property Policy ("Policy") sets out the principles and guidelines for the management of intellectual property ("IP") within Dayuan Ltd. ("Dayuan"), in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Policy aims to protect the IP rights of the Company, its employees, and third parties, and to promote innovation and creativity within the Company.
- Scope
- This Policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and any other individuals working for or on behalf of the Company, hereinafter referred to as "Personnel".
- Definitions
- "Intellectual Property" refers to creations of the mind for which exclusive rights are recognized under laws of England and Wales, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and designs.
- "Work" refers to any creation, invention, design, or other output that may qualify as IP under laws of England and Wales, created by Personnel in the course of their engagement with the Company.
- Ownership
- The Company claims ownership of all IP created by its Personnel during the course of their engagement with the Company, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Personnel must disclose any pre-existing IP that they bring into their engagement with the Company, and such IP shall remain the property of the Personnel unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Protection and Use
- The Company shall take appropriate legal measures to protect its IP rights.
- Personnel shall not use the Company's IP for any purpose other than the performance of their duties for the Company, without prior written consent.
- Reporting Infringement
- Personnel must report any suspected infringement of the Company's IP to the designated IP Officer immediately at info@dayuan.co.uk
- The Company will investigate all reports of infringement and take appropriate action, which may include legal proceedings.

- Compliance
- Personnel are required to comply with this Policy and all applicable IP laws of England and Wales.
- Failure to comply with this Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of engagement.
- Amendments
- This Policy may be amended by the Company from time to time, and Personnel will be notified of any such amendments.
- Acknowledgement
- By engaging with the Company, Personnel acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Policy.
- Withdrawal of Report
- The intellectual property owner or authorized agent who reported infringement may withdraw its report through IP Portal. The withdrawal request must clearly identify the report submitted by including the information of the complaining party, the intellectual property right previously claimed to have been infringed, and the material complained against which is to be withdrawn.
- False Notice
- We may reject reports of infringement that contain information we believe is false, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise submitted in bad faith. We also reserve the right to take action against abusers of this policy and applicable law.
- The continuous submission of inaccurate or fake notices could lead to the removal of your submission privileges.
